Puis comme un <strong>g\u00e9missement<\/strong>, \u00e9touff\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u2014 \u00ab Probablement un renard, ou une fouine coinc\u00e9e \u00bb, pensa-t-il.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Il saisit une lampe torche, descendit les escaliers grin\u00e7ants de la cave, et poussa la vieille porte de bois qui n\u2019avait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverte depuis des mois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd26 La cave<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019humidit\u00e9 lui sauta au visage. L\u2019odeur \u00e9tait \u00e9trange : un m\u00e9lange de terre, de bois pourri\u2026 et de quelque chose d\u2019autre.<br>Quelque chose de <strong>plus m\u00e9tallique. Ferreux. Presque&#8230; vivant.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le faisceau de la lampe tremblait dans sa main. Le bruit s\u2019intensifiait, toujours plus pr\u00e8s du mur du fond.<br>Il s\u2019approcha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et l\u00e0, il vit <strong>la dalle d\u00e9plac\u00e9e<\/strong>. Quelqu\u2019un \u2014 ou quelque chose \u2014 avait soulev\u00e9 une lourde pierre au sol.<br>Un trou b\u00e9ant s\u2019ouvrait sous ses pieds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il y eut un second g\u00e9missement. Des murs de pierre. Et au centre : <strong>un lit en m\u00e9tal rouill\u00e9.<\/strong><br>Attach\u00e9e dessus, une silhouette maigre, tremblante, encha\u00een\u00e9e.<br>Une femme. Vivante. L\u2019enqu\u00eate a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que la jeune femme avait disparu il y a <strong>huit ans<\/strong>, \u00e0 plus de 400 km de l\u00e0.<br>L\u2019ancien propri\u00e9taire de la maison \u00e9tait mort un an auparavant.
