Plus un geste. Plus un mot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 cette profondeur, il n\u2019y a pas de secours imm\u00e9diat. Pas de marge d\u2019erreur. Ses coll\u00e8gues comprennent instantan\u00e9ment : aucune chance. Personne ne survit \u00e0 cela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais il ne meurt pas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9quipes de secours interviennent avec une pr\u00e9cision extr\u00eame. Le moindre mouvement brusque pourrait \u00eatre fatal. Ils le remontent lentement, centim\u00e8tre par centim\u00e8tre, maintenant la barre en place \u2014 comme si elle retenait encore la vie en lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque minute compte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital, les m\u00e9decins restent stup\u00e9faits. Ce qu\u2019ils voient d\u00e9passe tout sc\u00e9nario habituel. La barre a travers\u00e9 le corps, d\u00e9truit un rein, endommag\u00e9 l\u2019intestin \u2014 mais, de fa\u00e7on inexplicable, elle a \u00e9vit\u00e9 les principaux vaisseaux sanguins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019op\u00e9ration commence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce n\u2019est pas une simple intervention. C\u2019est une course contre l\u2019impossible. Millim\u00e8tre apr\u00e8s millim\u00e8tre, les chirurgiens retirent la barre, comme s\u2019ils d\u00e9samor\u00e7aient un explosif log\u00e9 dans un corps humain. Une seule erreur, et tout s\u2019arr\u00eate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des heures de tension. Un silence absolu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puis \u2014 stabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u00e0 o\u00f9 tout annon\u00e7ait la fin, une chance appara\u00eet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais le plus surprenant reste \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 des blessures graves, son organisme continue de lutter. Oui, un rein est perdu. Oui, les organes internes sont atteints. Mais les fonctions vitales tiennent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les jours passent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque journ\u00e9e devient une victoire. Les m\u00e9decins cessent de faire des pronostics. Ils observent un cas qu\u2019ils peinent eux-m\u00eames \u00e0 expliquer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et puis ce chiffre tombe, presque irr\u00e9el : 19 jours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dix-neuf jours seulement apr\u00e8s un accident cens\u00e9 \u00eatre fatal, Daniel De Wet quitte l\u2019h\u00f4pital. Conscient. Vivant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une histoire qui contredit toutes les statistiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les sp\u00e9cialistes parleront ensuite de millim\u00e8tres. D\u2019un angle de chute. D\u2019un hasard impossible \u00e0 calculer.
