As a result of the accident, criminal proceedings have been initiated in the investigation department of Artik and Ani.
The police and investigation department are identifying the drivers, the dead and the injured. On the instructions of the investigator, the cars are moved to a special area protected by the Artik police department.
The operative group of the Artik police department, led by the head of the department, was also present. Prosecutor of Shirak Marz Armen Chichoyan and Prosecutor of Artik and Ani Sargis Petrosyan also arrived at the scene. The information about the accident was transferred from the Artik department of the police to the Artik and Ani investigative department of the Shirak regional investigative department of the Armenian investigative committee, from where the investigative team headed by the head of the regional investigative department, the head of the Artik and Ani investigative department and 2 senior investigators for particularly important cases arrived.
Patrolmen of the Shirak Marz Battalion of the Police Patrol Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene, led by battalion commander Karen Kureghyan, senior inspector of the battalion service Aghasi Khachatryan and company commander Vanik Shaghoyan.
